Outreach: Texas plants for pollinators

We’re on a mission to connect with Texans and spread the word about the vital role native plants and pollinators play in our landscapes.

Through dynamic communication efforts—including engaging newsletters, partner collaborations, and community events—we share inspiring stories and practical tips that encourage Texans to plant native grasses and wildflowers and grow pocket prairies in their yards and communities across the state.

TPWF's Plant for Pollinators app is slated to launch in the fall of 2025. This user friendly and interactive app will make it easy to select available eco-region specific native plants and pocket prairie mixes and provide interactive step by step instructions on how to plant for success and where to buy plants.

By fostering community engagement and celebrating our natural heritage, together we will ensure the future of pollinators and prairies in Texas.
